Sythe University

Really just this. While the idea is inherently fine, Sythe is just the wrong space for it to prosper.

 

The real question is, do you think that the community is mature enough?

I agree with most people here. I'm sure it'd be kind of inactive, and I doubt "experts" would even bother making a topic to help other users out.

Also, if anyone has a question regarding a certain subject, they're more than free to post a topic in the corresponding section.

 

No support while the idea is alright, there would be no way there would be enough interest to keep it even remotely active. That and if someone really wanted to learn some information; there are so many other ways going about doing it then sitting in the "Sythe University" and hoping that whatever is posted is accurate and reliable.

Honestly; these kinds of things are just a pain in the behind for whoever is at the helm of them. There just isn't the traffic for this sort of thing. It's super hard just to keep the CDT going - so if you wanna help with something like that shoot me a PM.

 

This completely. If you want to help encourage high quality content the CDT is a good starting point. Also many sections are made when there is a need for them beyond what we already have. Get enough people to make HQ threads in an area where they can be considered an 'expert' and there is a possibility it could be moved into something like you're suggesting.

 

This would be a great idea but it's just not something that Sythe.org would be able to maintain or keep up with.

The idea is cool and I hate to have to say it but it wouldn't work out. Sorry man
