They really should have made it public voting so we can have a general idea how many votes were cast by legit users, and how many were cast by "legit dec 2012" fake accounts made by kina and moonglare...

I find it too convenient that they catch up to each other in perfect tandem with their regular sythe-browsing schedules. Or that kina's entry honestly jumped 15 votes to catch up to moonglare's 65 earlier with hardly two people posting "I vote #1", and same for moonglare catching up to kina's 72 with nary a "#3!" post

Don't even say its because this poll affects everyone, sythe's poll on vb4 didn't even break 100, and the whole forum has been begging for that for ages. Or at least SOME news on when we can expect changes or a decision not to change

VB4 stuff is irrelevant to the majority of the Sythe users, by that I mean; people here simply to trade, that are not interested in the community or its happenings and have no idea what goes on within it.

This poll was alot easier to vote on aswell, didn't require much thought or effort, and also being able to see the artists work is motivation enough for people to click on the topic.

But yea, I see your point. If an answer is needed, just ask Sythe or I guess any Admin to see if there is anything suspicious going on.

The only way to tell if something is suspicous going on is to check IPs at this point since the voting is anonymous. IPs can be easily hidden with VPNs now that Richard has lifted protection on the forum that used to block proxy IPs and such. But to turn your logic on you, what does the average 100-poster market goer care about a silly old skin poll? It doesn't affect how they do business since 95% of transactions are carried out over msn. What's more community oriented than how the site looks?

Being able to see the artists work and knowing inside that topic they get to see something innovative, and then voting for fun or for an actual outcome. Just my reasoning behind it, could be totally wrong. But as you said, if the last 4 polls havent broken 100 votes, it could be what you're suggesting.
