Sythe Referrals

I'll support this, only because it only benefits the big/frequent sellers.

 

It was a fun little feature, support.

 

Rather have it on the profile page than on a postbit.

 

I reckon it has some weight to its existence rather then claiming it was useless. I believe the whole idea of the referral system was to encourage people to want to refer people to the site. and the the award system within that futher encouraged referring. We do want people coming onto the site right? And thats best done by referring.
It is definitely beneficial to the site. And personally seeing it in postbit always made me want to refer more.

Support I was gonna get some one day... Liked the little medals that were next to them as well, that looked cool.

 

Yes I definitely agree with this. It also motivated more people to join our community.

 

i loved that it kept track of refferal count under post count. and even if the refferals dont have much post count it doesnt mean they wudnt post in the future once they know aboutt he site lol.

BIG SUPPORT! for it to be reinstated and every1 get their previous refferal count back!

Tbh when you stated 'pretty useless', I wanted to clarify why the referrals system is important, and not just solely for fun. :/

And even if one referred person has one or two posts, it should be counted as a referral, because they may not have addictive use for the site, but can easily in the future refer others to the site. It still has some weight. I don't think one or ten posts makes much difference. @Moes

It's on the to do list so thats great .

 

I think the referral count was an awesome feature, It showed that you contributed to the forum! There must be many people out here who have spent a lot of time getting them. Would be a shame to see them gone. Wouldnt hurt to see them back right? Motivating people to refer others to use this website can in my eyes only be positive for this forum. Losing the referral count is the only change I didnt like after the update!

 

Put it back on the user's post, with post count, imo.

Many people had a good deal of referrals. They served no real purpose but it was nice to display them.

 

Any update on bringing this back other than it being on the to-do list? Should be a relatively quick fix.
