The mods do a good job here of weeding out what they can, and the community in general (outside of the spam forum mind you) is pretty friendly.

I got scammed today, yesterday and few weeks ago.
FULL OF SCAMMERS indeed, well i were an idiot because i didnt ask pm.

 

Lots get scammed once, the difference is in who gets scammed twice!

 

You should read some of the guides on how not to get scammed. Always ask for a PM and always google search someone's msn before the trade to make sure they're not evading.

 

Well he sended me email from Finn email address, looked kinda real.

 

You forgot to include the #1 Skiller.

But, these guys (excluding plznate, lol) are the bomb. Keep it up.

I've never been scammed in trades, I always ask for a middleman, I've only had something bad to me happen once, I asked for some quests, and he got my drag scim pure 1-9 defence and dropped everything. Pointless really.

Yeah all you have to do is ask for a pm, serch for the people details you buying/selling from and try get a MM for every trade

 

Sythe has really taken a turn for the better with recent promotions and such.

 

Yeah it has, a few months ago they were so many scamming going on but it went down alot with all the new mods/gobal mod caughting them at the act.​

Now for on topic.

Sythe, being the largest RS cheating and blackmarket site on the web, naturally will be the most attractive place for scammers to reside. As Rhodesy put it, just always ask for a middleman if you are unsure of a trade. That will prevent 70-75% scams from happening in the first place I would estimate.

Yes, they've been doing a great job... I've never really sticked to any other forum so I can't say if Sythe mods really are strict. But they can definitely keep order around.
