Sythe.org Staff Scamming?

Darkspark and Cheeter were hacked by a guy who stole fagex database. They had the same passwords on fagex that they had on sythe, and some on MSN. And as soon as we caught it we tried to find an admin on to ban Cheeter, but it took a little while as admins aren't on 24/7.

Ah well, that's a bit shit.

They will be back soon, right?

You would think that noobs would scam, but how about the staff being corrupt?!?! You decide...

I seriously think its pathetic, and if i get banned for this thread, just goes to show you how bad they really are... (Ryan, no personal attack on you, just used you as an example...)

Why should you blame it on Fagex? Was it their choice to get hacked? And I don't think that some of the staff are always thinking about Fagex getting hacked and their passwords getting stolen. A lot of the staff may have even forgotten that they even had an account on Fagex, or they've forgot the password. We can't really blame it on them.

I can't ban Cheeter...Only Admins can ban globals, Globals can ban Sectionals via Warnings.

If Sythe had a corrupt staff, we wouldn't be talking about petty 17M or 40M scams. We'd be talking Bils. Quit trying to make stupid conspiracy theories out of nothing. Well its good to see the staff have all come out with the same conlusion.. just one more question.. why ban darkspark way back when fagex DB was hacked, and wait weeks until you ban cheeter?

But at least the staff have "matching" stories now

I think if you can keep the scams to under 100M when a Global Mod gets hacked, the staff is working pretty well. You obviously don't realize how easily the hacker could have scammed 100M+. We couldn't predict the future, but I think the staff acted promptly and correctly.

When HelloGoodbye from Fagex (an Official MM) scammed, he ran away with over 500M.

And to add to that. Do you think that if someone got a hold of a staff account that he would immediately start acting unlike the real Cheeter? I think that he would see it better off to just not post as much, and try to act somewhat like the real one as to avoid suspicion (in the forums).

Actually Nat, you ignoramus, it is Fagex who was at fault here. They were hacked and then members from our site's passwords were stolen. Most have changed theirs, but Cheeter has been away camping, so he fell victim.

Please do some research before posting kiddo.
