Sythe.org NextGen Preview

So I'm working on a new theme for Sythe.org, called NextGen, and just wanted to take a moment to give you all a preview.

It revamps the current template with some new/updated images and looks a bit nicer and more modern. (In my opinion, at least.)

It also has what I simply refer to as the Sidebar. (Seen on the left.)

The Sidebar is a contextually sensitive area which changes based on where you are...

When you're on the forum home page, it shows you your account and the forum stats.

When you're viewing a thread, it shows you a list of forums.

When you're viewing a profile, it shows you options for that user.

Essentially, it adapts to what you're doing.

The idea is it makes using the site more efficient and lets you hop between sections/tasks more easily. It also makes the forum look a bit different which can be nice in itself.

So, I hope you enjoy this small preview and I also hope you look forward to trying NextGen when it is released!

That looks really good !

Looks awesome to me. Do you have an idea when this will be released yet?

[Lukef555]

Its not bad but to me it seems kinda "new-forum"-ish. But the sidebar is an awesome idea.

Any ideas on release?

[SuF]

Pretty epic Matt.

[Tmoe]

Look's pretty good and I like the whole idea to it adapting to what you are doing.
This is bound to make various operations much easier.

[Begonein2min]

Damn that looks tight! Good luck with it

[Rhodesy]

This looks pretty cool, I was thinking when reading it i'm not going to like it since I don't like change much, but it actually looks and generally sounds better. You should have a vote on it. Better than this current one by miles.

[SuF]

It looks great!

Will we have any ModCP options (avatar change/forum ban) when viewing people's profiles?

I'd also move Forum Leaders to the top.

That would be a security issue.

[Draucia]

This looks really cool, but isn't this the one already available but has errors?

[grasshopper1494]

It reminds me of the Donation Center theme.
Looking good

[Coinshare]

That's amazing good work

[Syed]

I like it very much, but choosing this theme would be optional, yes?

[Brendan]

Looks really good. The "Account at a glance" option on the side is interesting.

[Skele]

It looks great!

Will we have any ModCP options (avatar change/forum ban) when viewing people's profiles?

That would be amazing

Looks very nice!

Looking forward to it.

[SuF]

Wait, are we afraid of people using our computers?

Not really, but if you can get on the mod cp without logging in, it does create an issue. Maybe just requiring your password before using an mod tools for the first time each session.

[Skillers FTW]

Thats looking sexy bro. Keep up the good work.

Can't wait till its released.

[Necromancer24]

Finally. Begging actually works I remember making multiple threads asking for new themes
