@sythe.org MSN impostors

Take notice that @sythe.org MSN addresses are not necessarily official.

I was recently contacted about [email protected]. This is an impostor. The only public MSN that I use is [email protected]; I do not play RS, I do not use the blackmarket, and I do not MM.

Always ask for a PM on sythe before you do a trade, especially when trading with Sythe.org staff or officials.

Not really. They are usually unverified. Simple way to prevent, ask for a PM which includes what they're msn is.

 

Can't you stop it? I mean, i am a moderator of a site, which forum is also runned by vBulletin and users can't make [email protected]in msn-s or e-mails.

You can't. You can simply set up a "Windows Live ID" for use on Windows Live Messenger. If it says (E-mail Address Not Verified) next to their MSN name it means that the e-mail address is not theirs.
