Sythe.org forums is hated.. XD!

Everyone hates on us but honestly this community is in my opinion the best out of all of them. Even though I've been scammed many times. I still love to participate in the community and just keep trying to do business.

 

And you've probably made a hell of a lot more profit than loss, haven't you?

A perfect example of someone who knows how to correctly conduct business, which again should be taken everywhere! Not just Sythe...

 

It would probably go smoother if we didn't accuse one of 'bitching' at the other...

Furthermore, that thread, as previously posted somewhere, is a bit old now; I can (personally) say tension between Sythe and Villavu aren't as high now as then. Scamming does happen often here, but given the general size of the market of this community, the chances of scams happening greatly increase, this is basic logic, no doubt about it. And no one said Villavu has a perfect halo either, we've had a few scams before, probably some I don't even know about, but luckily because of our small marketing section we're able to catch scammers (?) every time; like stated by your admins, our staff also takes this VERY seriously.

I would personally never (again, lol...) trade/swap/buy/sell here on Sythe. Obviously I've nothing against the community itself, but there's a higher chance than, let's say, Villavu, of myself getting ripped off.

I do respect the staff here as well, at least those who I know. Sythe and I started in the same place, RuneCMS. We go back a ways, I'm not sure how many others here are still active coming from RuneCMS, but I'd imagine that number is very small. He's a good guy, I've always been impressed with his work. Scarscape, I believe was his creation, no? I hope I have that right... Govind, as I've found out, is a really chill guy. I'm glad to have gotten a chance to just have a couple conversations with him. Honestly there should be more like him in general around here.

People act as though there isnt scammers on vilavu/srl they are generally a bunch of elitist dickheads, their thinking is basically if you cant script fuck you... i dont feel much of a community on any of the forums they have. Granted ive pretty much ceased all trading on sythe due to being scammed i have met a few non scammers and continue to do good business with them. This is the internet .. people scam, especially on the so called "black markets". Im pretty appalled to think mods over there are so unprofessional to ALLOW multiple threads of just flaming let alone starting them up and being key players in the immaturity. If their community was so good they wouldnt have bothered to come here, honestly it sounds to me that they all did some shady shit and got banned and are butt-hurt about it! The petty bullshit of this thread in response to their thread(S) is kinda silly as well maybe we should take high road and close it? They are elitist dicks who got banned here, the convo would go like this: ME:"u mad bro" THEM:"YES i am mad" troolollololol why add to the bs? They are mad lets let them continue to look like tools

 

This is the kind of stuff that enrages them and causes the conflict in the first place tbh...

Sorry dude, nothing against you and I know you're angry about the situation but I'm tired of being thrown into the mix just because people like to bicker on the internet.

The bottom line is scammers are an internet-wide problem, not just limited to Sythe. It's not VillaVu's fault and it's not Richard's or Sythe's as a community. If we could refrain from attacking their community (even if they do so to us) we could maybe make a better name for ourselves...

We are never going to find a common ground if we keep butting heads.

The funny thing about those threads, are that people in there admit to breaking the rules, than complain when they get banned for it...

I think mostly, they are mad because they don't get special treatment here like they do on villavu...Anyone who can script is basically unbannable over there...

from what i gathered from someone here on sythe who uses that site.


they tend to get upset if you don't release your stuff free to them, and if you charge for your program they tend not to like you, they want everything free.


atleast thats what i've gathered from a scriptor.

 

It's impossible to track an official statistic like that unless you dedicated hours of work to do it, and i'm pretty sure most of us have lives

 

Sythe is just common sense when it comes to buying/selling things. If it sounds to good to be true, than it is! Get to know the person your dealing with before sending/receiving payment.

 

Sythe: Home of the Scammers. Sure, there are some trusted people around here, but let's face it. 65% of Sythe's body consists of scammers and ban evaders. Most real world traders around here fall between the age of 12 - 17. At that age, most kids are looking to make a quick buck by scamming others.

That's hilarious. Getting to know a person over the Internet doesn't increase measures of safety. In fact, scammers try and make you feel comfortable around them before they ask you to hand things over.

It's kids like you who give any community a bad name. You're not proving anything nor trying to help any cause, you're just posting your own opinions in hopes of adding fuel to the fire. You literally serve no purpose of being part of this nor any community, so why are you here? Complain about how you weren't accepted in SRL because of your childish behavior and feel like raging here? Than I wonder what happens if you get banned here also, will you go to another forum and start raging/flaming Sythe as well?

Who, YoHoJo? He wasn't scammed as far as I know. That thread was made out of his disbelief that such simple (in our opinion) programs were being sold for real cash here on Sythe. To us it's shocking to charge people for such simple macros.

That means alot coming from someone who registered on SRL back in May and made one post ever; that posting being this:

Seems like you're just upset you couldn't get a script to work and felt like throwing some hate words towards the whole community as a result.

The general goal of Villavu is not to do with Runescape botting and/or scripts. We're a learning community, we don't support script buying/selling (same with ranks). Every 'bot' that sells scripts or macros proves that, once again, they're no better than anyone else; anything to make a quick buck. They really couldn't care less about the users and especially will not help them learn.

Those people who you're talking about on SRL who "want you to release everything for free", those are previous RSBot/RSBuddy/Powerbot users; they don't give a damn about the community, just themselves and what they can personally gain.

 

Pfffff. That was so totally bitching! But regardless I handled that situation with Govind and everything got sorted out. If people just talk to one another and try to find solutions you generally do without nuclear war or anything.

 

I think this is already wayy behind us.

Sythe and villavu are like cousins. OFcourse we bitch at each other at times but over time we are cool with each other.

Those threads are quite old and the 2012 one happened was only because of a little thing between yoho and govind. But IIRC govind and srl people made up and are all cool
