I might have to take look into this, looks pretty cool.

 

Has anyone else from Australia given this a go? I'd like to play with some Sythe members but I've got a feeling that the connection might not be too great.

 

Just connect and see what your ping is like. I've been seeing a lot of European users playing and their ping is definitely playable levels.

 

I don't have the game yet, that's why I've been asking. I know it's only $10, but if I know it won't work then I can avoid spending it on a game I only plan to play with Sythe members.

 

You have steam right? Just search the server in the server finder and see what the ping is.

CS is super cheap guys, it's worth the buy. If you still find it too expensive, then it will always be cheaper over the Christmas period.
