I have the regular Minecraft server on my computer. All of the torrent downloads in the link Sythe provided keep trying to install Privitize VPN on my computer, which I know has a virus linked to it (Zoomex.exe).

I've had to deal with this virus before, so I'm uncertain where I can download a legitimate 1.5.1 server.

 

Verts gave you something to use I thought?

 

You are clicking the wrong link, you are clicking 'Anonymous Download', which yes directs you to Privitize VPN. You have to use the Torrent DL Link directly, which is safe.

 

Actually, I just thought of something.

I OWN A MINECRAFT ACCOUNT

So.. I logged in to minecraft.net.. redownloaded the regular client.. logged in with my username.. and let the client update..

1.5.1 is mine...

Sythe, you should look into Essentials for a plugin

Gives you spawn, tpa and tppos and other teleport commands, shops, loads of customized mod commands, and some anti-griefing functions.

TPA = asking a user to teleport. So if I do /tpa SuF, SuF will get a message saying "MohtasaUnique would like to teleport to you, type /tpaccept or /tpdeny"

TPPos = teleport to a specific location. For example, /tppos 100 64 100 would teleport you to (100, 100) at elevation 64, which is ground level

Then there's things like /tphere which brings a user to you, /tpall which brings EVERYONE online to you, and /back which returns you to your previous location.

Spawn commands lets an op set a spawn location with /setspawn (setting it to your current location and orientation). Then, /spawn will teleport a user to the location you set.

I don't know if worldguard has been implemented... but you might want to put it in since you have bukkit now. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/worldguard/
If possible, it might be nice to implement an economy plugin as well as shops to buy/sell items (like a miniature-town setup).

At least for spawn protection so people can't dig out the area around spawn and dump lava there... Inifinite spawn -> deaths

On another note, looking for a mushroom biome -> will trade 3 dblox for coords to one.
