Sythe IRC [Unofficial]

Although a certain amount of professionalism is required to be on operator in IRC, it's not an official Sythe server (hence the [unofficial]) so they can act in any way the want to.
Also, I'm halfop and spend a lot of time on IRC and I've never seen you before, so you couldn't have gave it a very good try.
If the mods are "stupid" as you like to call them, it's likely because you tried to get their attention or insulted someone, IRC is for neither.

 

Nice guide, however i thought the official server if you wanted to connect is /server do.ka.us.project-irc.info then #sythe because that's what I've been using on my mobile phone.

If you haven't joined you should the IRC is an amazing place for laugh and good times.

 

We might be a bit abusive sometimes (Like I kick people a lot) its all in good fun. We won't ban you and we won't let people really get all mean and shit to others. Its a fun spot that we won't let descent into chaos.

Fixed problem.

 

Is the IRC down or is that just me?

 

It's working fine for me, maybe it's just webirc not working.

 

Hmm what info do i put in for chat server, server port, and channel for mIRC?

 

/server -m irc.us.chatlair.net

/server -m irc.eu.chatlair.net

us - usa

eu - europe, use whichever server applies to you. mIRC default ports are 6667/6668 so you wont have to change those, once you connect the server just /join #Sythe

 

If something breaks, let me know.
Could be a DNS error, DNS host had a huge malfunction and forced all DNS records to be wiped :/
