Does he have any room to brag? I honestly think mine is better for the price... All I said was I was getting a sweet Asus for Xmas and he starts going on about his gayass overpriced lappy =P

What do you think? And please give me more laptop suggestions. No macs save me the arguing.

 

Assuming he took the upgrades I guessed they are about even and considering you're spending 600$ less you definitely have a right to brag.

No but the one you listed for 1999$ only has a single 8700 mobile I also don't see any phsx card listed on either one.

and as for suggesting a desktop for 1500$ just build your own and get the best prices.

Well, I don't prefer the XPS, I had one, A desktop, and it overheated. I'm atm using a Toshiba Satellite (IDK Model #) With a 320gb Hd and 4.1 Gb ram, HD screen, and some kind of high tech,glossy chrome silver, and grey finish.

You have some room to brag to him, but he has reasons to brag, I guess me and you could brag to each other.

Nice pick bro, definetly better than his. I got a laptop for that price, with dual-core 2.0 GHz processor, and 512MB of SHARED video memory lulz. Should have chosen yours.

On topic, Wow, the M1730 has went down in price. My dad got it for my half brother who said he needed it for college back in March. It was like 5000$ when it came out, they nerfed it 2000$. In my opinion, Dell knows what they are doing and they got some pretty good warranties. I am not too familiar with the other laptop, I have heard of it, just never used one.

 

Get a custom made one, Then you can choose what you want for a fraction of the price.
