Sythe Collection Thread!

Hello. Welcome to the Sythe collection thread. Here is a place to show off your real-life collections. From coins to cards to pens, we ALL collect something! Post what you collect with a picture and I will post it on the "Sythe Wall Of Collection" (see below).. It will also help if you post the size of your collection. Feel free to ask questions about another persons collection. PLEASE do not post your runescape collections and/or any online collections. This is real-world collections only.

WHAT I COLLECT:
- Pokemon/Yugioh Cards (Not-Actively)
- Sports Cards (Not-Actively)
- Joker Cards (Currently have about 128 pairs [256 total])
- Recently got into Arizona Cans (5 different designs/flavors atm)
- Used Event Tickets (About 60 used concert/sports tickets)
- Silver (Large Amount of Silver atm)
- Coins (Not-Actively)
- Paper Money (Not-Actively)
- Rocks (Not-Actively)


I have tons of other small collections.. As you can see I am a collecting freak. But I am not a hoarder. I keep all my collections organized and neat.

I collected Hot Wheels cars too, some of them are pretty cool/old.
I collect different types of weed acticely, I save a small nugget of all the extraordinarily good weeds I get and I plan to grind them all together one day and smoke them. I'm on like 16 or 18 different types right now.

That's pretty interesting. I have a friend who is trying to collect a spore print of as many mushrooms as he can. He has like 138 or something. A lot of those are psylocybn shrooms He plans to do what you are gonna do and get super tripped some day and like go fucking crazy. As for yugioh cards, I have so many that are worthless, so I went through and took out all the shiny/halographic ones (meaning they are somewhat rare) and just kept those separate. I did the same with Pokemon. So I guess I collect shiny/halographic trading cards. Mostly cause they are rare and look REALLY cool, and usually have awesome artwork.

I'll show some of my stuff in a little bit. I'm sure most of you probably know what kind of stuff I collect and have an excessive amount of lol...

Edit: This is what I managed to dig up in 10 minutes and snap pictures of real fast. I have a lot more than pictured unfortunately (I say unfortunately because it does take up a lot of space), but this will give you guys an idea.

Here's your nostalgia overloads:

First off, this is pretty much what every inch and crevice of this room looks like

Some of my systems. I have a few more boxed systems including a couple of segas and an original nintendo but they're at my brothers in Cali at the moment, I'm getting them shipped over pretty soon. As you can see my closet is pretty much stacked with boxes too (those clothes were meant to be taken to goodwill long ago, I wouldn't even attempt to store my stuff in there). In the middle is a boxed super 8 camera and a projector for it as well as one of my condenser mics I use for recording (In case anyone was curious)

Definitely don't want to dig all of this out, but as you can see I have tubs and tubs and tubs of every system you could imagine.

The mega mans (I had a couple more of them but ended up having to sell em due to some financial stuff awhile back)

YES, I do have battletoads.

One of my favorite games back in the day right here, Zombies at my neighbors who remembers that shit?

I might try to post some more some time. Like I said I have some other pretty rare stuff but I don't have the second right now to dig it all out.

@heads447 - Classic. I have like 10 hot wheels in a little tin. They are all common and worth like 20 cents each. LOL

@FloydZeppelin - Cheers mate! That is an amazing collection. I'm guessing it's game consoles, but it looks like anything electronical as well. I am happy you took the time to post the pictures. This is what I love!! I will post pictures of my collections when I get a chance. You have any idea how many consoles you have? When I get home I will put your images into an album and add your collection to the Wall Of Collections.

I used to collect Yu-Gi-Oh cards when I was younger but ended giving some of them away, still have my main deck and a dragon deck though.

 

I collect Retro games and consoles.

@add my msn - Yugioh!!!!! LOL. I never actually played. Just collected the cool/rare ones.

@amethyst - Retro games? What exactly do you mean?

@savitar - seems like everyone has a bunch of Pokemon or yugioh cards somewhere. Imagine how many people out there have super rare cards and have no idea. (1st edition charizard goes for a fortune). As for old notes, what kind of things do you have? I have some old silver notes, se old red seal notes, and tons and tons of foreign notes from all over.

@fendle - You and me both... I'm hoping you were tryna be funny. But maybe you do collect money.. Like notes.. Lol

I am looking for some weird collections too guys. Even if you don't actively collect it or even if it is more of a hoard.. Just post it! I have a buddy who collects beer cans, I have another who likes to stock up on different types of water bottle caps, and another who absolutely loves salt and pepper shakers. I heard of a guy who collected hair and another who collected toenails..

Used to collect Magic: The Gathering cards and also WWF/WWE cards. As I grew older, I realized I don't have the interest anymore and decided to sell them off.
