[Sythe]An Apology

I am Emperor_Nero, for the record.

I would first like to say that I am not apologizing for what I said, but the way I said it. There were three posts in which I was critical of Richard, and I stand behind the posts, but I realize that at the time things were quite heated and I could have handled the situation substantially better by taking my criticism and concern directly to him. My intent was not to grief, but to comment on the statements that were put forth in that thread. I know the site is of private ownership, but there were a lot of things that were going on that I saw as negatively effecting the site and the community. I could have easily been less crass and sarcastic and still have gotten my point across that the happenings were very worrisome and that some of the statements made were ludicrous in nature.

I have given to this community for several years that included time with the OGVs, guide section reformations, I carried the graphics section between mods and during the reign of some mods as well as help teach a lot of the market giants in that section through CnC and just friendly chat, and CTD time. I am sure there are numerous mods who can attest to my nature and general attitude of being friendly and helpful around the site.

In closing I would like to apologize for being rude and negative, but I still stand behind the idea of the criticisms concerning the way things were going at that point.

 

I'll support a vote or reducing of your ban length if that's the only option.
