System Update-botnuke-Alkhard

Correction: Bot Watch STARTED to come out before Botany Bay. Jagex was releasing bits and pieces of it at a time, running tests to make sure it worked as intended, and then moved onto the next piece. The Botany Bay release was the signal of the final piece of Bot Watch. That is, unless they've hidden some key elements of it so far and are waiting for botters to believe they are safe, and start to run their bots a lot more, until the final piece is released. Who knows for sure though.

dont underestimate them. they are a million $$ company now. we cant expect them to not do anything

When I went their a sec ago, there was someone with this name '60 Olaf Bob'.

 

Well... I feel that this would mean the temporary end of many bot clients as the creators have to find ways to bypass this update. The plus side is that it's a really interesting way of banning people. I am willing intentionally get myself banned on runescape just to see Botany Bay or I could just look it up on YouTube. Haha An interesting update. But not good for botters. Thanks for opening the thread for discussions

 

During the Rs official stream they said botwatch was implemented long ago to get the actions of the bots to make sure they know who to ban and who not to.

 

Good update. Now I hope to see all the botters I report at red chins on my way to mine red sandstone get banned.
