Swearing in RuneScape

Yeah, when I was playing with my friends on RuneScape, we tried swearing upstairs somewhere. The only one's we tried that worked were:

Fuckless
Ass
Crap
Suck
Damn
Babyshit

I'm not sure how long these were working, and if someone else already posted these. If so, mods feel free to lock/move this thread.

 

Crap, Ass, and Suck have all been removed from the censor about 2-3 weeks ago, Jagex even mentioned that they made a censor update.


Fuckless however is a pretty good find, and I bet it will get Patched when Jagex finds out about it.

 

I think theres another one with fuck in it. Quite sure I saw someone at GE using it. I think they should invent an adult server where there are fewer constraints on the language filters.

 

In one the of responses to the "Questions and Answers" forum thread, there was talk of a similar idea being produced. Why would you need to use profanity in a game anyway? Yes some people, including myself, swear when frustrated, but what difference does it make if you see the words in the chat screen or just a series of symbols that filter the word.

I don't use foul language often irl or in game at all and whether I write ffs when frustrated or see a series of *'s doesn't really phase me either way to be honest and the reason I wish for an adult version with less constraints is not to allow me to swear. What bother me is that when typing something or talking to people in game or even saying a players name... stars are used even though the chat or name is completely innocent. Not because they are offensive in the slightest but as it violates the constraints set by the filter. It is the same on the RS forums and it often gets in the way of many things I do.

I tend to mine stars alot with a clan and hard work is often meritted on the forum, yet names cannot be mentioned properly as it upsets the filter. Can't really think of the words offhand that come up in conversation on RS but they are certainly not rude or profane in any nature, just quite simply they upset the language filter.

I really like the idea of an adult server(s) with that option. That would be very neat if they actually did that.

Fucklesss, loosepussyfat, babyshit, housefucklol, hoe, are all words me and my friends have found. Hoe, however, was removed from the censor.
