Swapping friends chat on rs3/07? Discuss

Hey guys,

I notice the other day, this guy was live streaming him swapping eoc for 07 gold, he was a general rank in the fc, and he told us that he makes profit off of this, and it seems to me that people make a lot of money off swapping eoc to 07 or is it just me? Discuss!

 

There's really nothing to discuss; it's massively profitable.

 

I wish I could get into it, but I'm not sure how to start! Anyone have any ideas?

 

For starters, be familiar with the rates. Know which rates will be profitable and work from there.
Also, you have to find a way to get trusted

 

Or straight up buy a rank in a fc, such as home ;p

It doesn't take much. I was co-owner of swap booth for a while.

Get advert accounts.
Get a price checking bot.
Get a couple of ranks.

 

Major thing is advertisement, once I get some money spare i'm in the process of starting one up.

I just don't have as much time as i'd hoped for right now.

You need trusted ranks to get started, a lot of gold and the ability to deal with idiots. I personally wouldn't charge weeklies but hey.

 

Sorry to say, but. If you're were co-owner as you've stated in swap booth which is GP stand. Aren't you responsible for the refunds of people who got scammed under that name of the FC?

 

I was also in swap booth for a while, my irl m8 who was ALSO RANKED got scammed 54m 07...

Then Mo demanded I pay weeklies, told him not until my m8 had been repayed as promised.

I've heard bad stories about him and the FC.

he was entirely useless, After I proved one of his staff was a scammer, he legit promoted him. So I left. Wanted nothing to do with it, not ruining my name.

Was scammed 25m 07 lol. So now I can't fund a home rank

 

I wouldn't participate with in game FC if buying or selling gold. For all you know Jagex could patrol the logs.

 

Why would I be responsible? I was ranked in the fc for months and then the fc failed and Mo agreed to let me be co-owner on the 1st december 2013. I ran everything in the fc pretty much solo and at that time not a single scam report was filed.

Mo agreed to split weeklies 50/50. The first week we didn't collect weeklies and at the end of the second week he messages me about my weekly. I told him I'm co-owner I'm not paying shit. So he deranked me etc.

 

its probably because of that the fc failed. Splitting weeklies ... Weeklies should be used principally to help the fc.. When you are doing good with the fc, now you can think of taking a little for profit but when its a complete fail because no effort was put in the FC, its just pathetic. I have nothing against you but I was really frustrated with the FC and how Moe was doing absolutely no effort... OK he bought like 4 adv?. He always said he would do more but never did. Thats why I did a review on the FC on the thread that has alot of impacts because people was pming me about it (and it was true). I left it there only because I wanted him to work and I knew he would try to remove the review. I told him it would be hard...

Anyway all that to say that op@ I would use sythe in your place and trade trusted ranks because there isnt much fcs that are actually legit.. Gp stand for example... Their generals scammed because they had all the power... I would recommend home osrs if any of them. They dont scam. I know alot of people from sythe in there and I am part of the ranks too so yea.

Yeah, but lets be honest most people in swap fcs are going to RWT. I've had so many friends get RWT bans in swap fcs and I've been trading for years without RWT bans.

 

Considering in the OP he's referring to swapping to make a profit, somewhere along the line the gold is being RWT.

Believe me when I tell you, if you're involved with RWT and in a FC that condones this, your chances of leaving a trail are only increased.

 

Speaking by myself when i used to swap in cc's, i would still get banned for doing it, so yea, jagex patrol them logs for sure
