Suspicion of Bulk Buy

Not sure where to post this, do you think it is a red flag to RWT detection if i purchase a Tbow from someone?
What are the chances of being banned on a 2k + total main, also using a MM for the trade?

Like previously stated above, I don’t anticipate you will run into any issues.
There are people that trade Bills a day all the time.
I’ve been RWTing for 10 years, never had a ban. (Knock on wood)

 

I think you will be fine , after all i think they look for patterns and target gold sellers rather than buyers. Who's to say your lifelong friend on skype didn't offer to give you a t bow ? =)

I have previously made purchases from PA & Bogla, these have been medium to small purchases (10-100m). Hopefully that isn't enough to spark suspicion.

 

I've made larger purchases in the past with no issues, I wouldn't stress it.

 

You'll be fine. Pretty sure Jagex has really dimmed down RWT bans. They don't like gold farmers that abuse the game solely to profit. Goodluck.

 

There's always the risk. I was banned the other day on a 2k account with no offences. I sold 1.5b (you can see my vouches)

So everybody here shouldn't be underplaying it, it definitely happens regardless of who you are. That being said, it's usually the seller that is targeted, not the buyer so you should be fine but the guy selling you might not be. Good luck though.

I also read yesterday @Pegasus got banned when borrowing a Tbow. So there is a risk you're taking.

did you bulk sell frequently on that account or was that a rare transaction for you?

 

Happened to me about 15 months ago, lost an unbelievable rune pure nearly 2k total and 2 99 hunter alts for 1 transaction selling 800m to won gold.

 

First ever transaction

 

Must have been about 3 or 4 hours after. I kind of was expecting to be banned because I sold everything in my bank but didn't think I'd be hit that soon. My IP was never flagged and only did 200-500 trades. 1950 acc would probs take 3 or 4 months of nolifing again but it is what is tbh wasn't enjoying playing the game for myself. Wanted the money to start me off on sythe
