Today I was playing MW2 when all of a sudden it said the disk was unreadable...I took it out cleaned it and tried again. It didn't work. I had a D-Skin on it so it would not be scratched but guess what?...Somehow, instead of scratching the bottom the xbox CUTS three lines into the middle of the disk. I did not bump the xbox, I was laying in my bed by myself at the time and there was nobody or anything else in the room at the time. Fuck xbox's...
get a stand for it so the xbox is propped exactly up. This will make it so this issue will never reoccur.
this has happened twice since christmas...and i never bumped the fucking thing...I'm sending it back to Microsoft. And there's gunna be some verbal abuse over the phone...if u know wat i mean. And btw..it's already on a stand.
I was wondering if that would work. I'm going to borrow my friend's working disk to save it, and then use my disk to play it. You think that'll work? Should have given it to me tbh.
Get the disk cleaned at a local video store or something, friend had this happen to him, got it cleaned dled it to his harddrive, works fine, + it's a lot quieter Although MW2 is like 7gigs.
Yes, Dustin. If you save a working copy of the game to your hard drive, and then stick in a scratched disk(it'll still atleast read the game title) and you just select "Play from hard drive" if you have a disk that your xbox reads as say MW2, and MW2 on your hard drive, you can play it. np
