Super Smash Bros Brawl Tips and Tricks

Welcome To My Guide
In this guide I will teach you tips and tricks that can be used with all characters​

​

How To Approach Your Opponent!​

When the match begins throw a projectile if your character has the ability to do so​

For example if you are using Link, I'd suggest throwing a bomb or shooting an arrow from the start
​

If your character has no projectile to throw then i suggest you run towards your opponent and jump over them. Then either use down A for a down smash attack or if your opponent is ready for you, then while you are in the air do an air dodge to go behind him. Then do a quick AAA combo ​

If you do not feel like rushing the opponent then you may also wait for him to come to you.
Now when your opponent is running or jumping towards you, you may either attack him with a quick A smash or simply use your shield and roll to the side then use A smash​

How To Dodge Your Opponent!​

​

Your shield is your best friend and to use it simply press either the R button or the L button
Your shield lasts for about 3-4 seconds until it breaks
When your shield breaks you will be stunned, meaning unable to move/dodge/attack etc. for about 4 seconds​

Now how to use your shield to its fullest extent
Shield Roll
A shield roll is when you roll behind your opponent while your using your shield. to do this simply press the R or L trigger and move your analog stick in any direction.​

Ariel Dodge
An Ariel Dodge is when you use the R or L trigger while in the air.
This comes in handy when your falling back on the stage and your opponent has a smash attack charging up just for you. So right before you get near your opponent press the R or L trigger and for 1 second you will be invulnerable and dodge there attack
Side dodge
A side dodge is similar to the Ariel Dodge but the Side Dodge is performed while on the stage.
A Side Dodge is performed by press the R or L button and pressing the analog stick down at the same time and your charater willstep to the side for about 1/2 a second. Making you invulnerable for that amount of time​

Very nice guide Elias I actually play this game when i go to my buddys house and he just owns me all the time. I will put these tactics to use and let you know how its goes knowing my nintendo skills not so good lol, but good guide, good use of pictures and quite descriptive,could have used a little more colour 8/10

If you can, talk about grabs. I'm pretty decent overall in brawl but I never grab anyone ever, just because I don't know when a good opportunity is.

I like the usage of pictures, some grammar/spelling issues but none big enough to make the guide harder to understand. Overall, very well-put together

It is a well put together guide.
The guide is easy to read and the pictures help.
Even though those are positive things in this guide, there is one negative I have noticed.
These aren't the best tips.
I'd recommend making a new guide and going more into depth about SSBB for the newbies who don't know how to play this game.
Your tips weren't useful to me at all.
I'm pretty great at this game.

 

ya transfer, this is my First guide and ya this is no pro guide by far, this is a guide for semi-new people that didnt know how to do this.
