The R looks a bit too light. apart from that looks not bad

I'd prefer the red to be darker personally. It just blends too much, and takes away from the shiny effect.

Maybe one day you can learn to make the glitter animated haha, would look much neater imo

Layer styles, glow in particular, have been abused here. Less is more. The brushing & stars on top are overpowered also.

Keep ya head up, best way to learn at that stage I found was just stealing ideas from existing ideas to get a feel for them, then later doing your own thing

 

Thanks for your feedback! yeah I recently discovered the use of brushes, and thought they were pretty awesome..so I kinda abused it. As for the glow, meh thought it looked cool but its always nice to get some criticism from someone whos a lot more experienced than I am.

If you did make its sythe colors look into your layer blending options.

The sparkle is a bit to much but the rest looks really good. I like the colors and background a lot. Keep it up!
