Summoning pure Or Hybrid?

Ok so i was wondering which build would be better. Atm i'm 95 Mage/93 range.
I have the funds for 99 summoning. Tell me which would be better.

Summoning:
99 Summoning
99 Range
99 Constitution
99 Mage
52 Prayer
75 Attack
50 Strength
Combat 79.

Hybrid:
50 Attack
99 Constitution
99 Strength
99 Range
99 Mage
52 Prayer
Combat 79.

 

They both look really nice, but you have to admit 99 summoning is pretty boss. What's the motive behind 75 attack though?

 

For 75 Attack/ Staff of light. Since i'll be tanking with Steel Titan i'd use the SOL Special and tank the hell out of DDS/Claws.. & It kills the spec bar, but i don't have a wide range of spec weapons with 75 attack & 50 str anyway.

Why don't you do the Summoning build first, that way if you wanted to switch you could easily just do it?

Summoning doesn't affect your combat in the wild anymore, so even if you were to become a hybrid you should get 99 Summoning (it is useful as hell in just about anything you would do, including PK'ing).

The only problem with taking my suggestion above, is that you would have 25 more attack levels than you wanted in option 2.

Tl;dr Regardless of what you do get 99 Summoning, as your account will only benefit if you do.

 

That's true. Maybe if things turn out for the better i'd just become a GS Pure or whatever they're called haha.

 

I like where the accounts going, if you're 75 attack might as well get to 80 and get some kind of chaotic. Seriously it amazing tanked with sol alone, steel titan would be BOSS. What's your method for charms? Rock lobsters?

 

Yeah Rock lobster, I haven't started on the charms yet i was going to do it at 99 range/mage

 

You should burst/barrage @ less than 99 magic if you'd like the experience, otherwise if you're doing it to utilize less splashing, go for it. If you have loads of cash, I would reccomend chinning at the ape atoll tunnels; it's amazing experience and can be afked easily if you have good prayer bonus.

 

I agree with this.

Burst/barrage rock lobs for 99 Magic and charms, and then you could range+cannon Wallasalkis (they are on the way to rock lobsters) for 99 Range and charms. Then when 99 in both you could Burst/Barrage Rock Lobsters for the rest of your charms, since I think Rock Lobsters are at least slightly faster charms.

 

Agree with you, pluss youde have turmoil and with titan and sol spec, that would be beast as fuck, especially with SS healing you while your rapin the fuck out of whoever your killing

 

I actually have 20k chins atm & 70k Nats :] I estimated the chins to get me 97 or higher range haha, then i'd buy more. And the nats are all the required for 99

 

The trouble with that is then you are going to be alching for pretty much no reason, since bursting/barraging with 99 Magic is going to get you a ton of mage xp over 99. But however you want to do it Just want to save you time/money

 

I see what you mean though. Bursting Lobs would get me to 99 mage anyway w/ hp so i'm wasting money haha.

Haha i actually thought about that. I'm still debating on the attack though because i'm 2 levels away from 50 attack & i wanna make my mind up.

 

The higher your attack, the more vesatile you are. But like I said before, if you keep it lower there is always a chance to level it, whereas if you level it and want it lower you can't go back.

 

Just get 60 Attack, seriously. You won't regret it.

both look soooo juicy but i prefer hybrid because summ tank can easily be maged(uneed to be multi for u familiar to help u)
