Suits

Haha, I started watching this yesterday on 1channel and close to finishing season 1 today.

It's an awesome show.

After finishing these series, Breaking Bad here I come.

 

Suits is awesome, and all the girls that play major parts are super hot.

Today's episode was MUCH more satisfying than last weeks. There was SOOOOOOOOOOOO much progress in the main story, it made me really happy and emotionally drained at the same time. This show will be the death of me

I'd have to argee. The drama was AMAZING.....I can't believe Daniel did what he did.....

 

I loved season 1 and am loving season 2, but the last episode felt a little like a soap opera or something at the end, accusations of love/old managing partner trying to reclaim his title. However, I was kind of surprised Mike got to Harvey and they agreed to settle.

 

I totally saw it coming, and I knew how his face would look when he finally did it, but that just made it that much more satisfying

Now that Donna was put into the position where she was forced to partially anounce her love for Harvey, do you think we're going to see any Havey + Donna romance?

Idk if I was just tired but it seemed like this week's episode was weak. Meh, tomorrow I'll have to re-watch it (and edit this when I do), but I just felt like now they are beginning to drag the season out. All that flashback stuff was unnecessary really, but again I'm tired so I might take this back.


Two more episodes left and omg she's coming back!

 

2days ep was one of the best yet.

 

Was a little disappointed with yesterdays episode it didn't seem to really push the plot along as usual and all the flashbacks were just visually showing what we already knew.

The flashbacks are by far, at current, the most important thing we've seen. It personifies how each of the characters aren't meant to be perceived, as-well as giving us an idea into the history of the firm; which will be relevant when it boils down to the vote of jessica v hardman.

SO much more can be said about it, but if you found that episode weak, its not a show for you, tbh as you're missing all the main points.

 

Yesterdays episode clarified and gave more detail into the characters, showing us a more in depth look of what they were like.

 

I think the point of the flashback was pretty relevant to the current plot. Jessica, Daniel and Harvey's part in the flashback is giving you crucial information, catching you up to speed on the money embezzling scheme so that, as you watch the voting between Jessica and Daniel, you can actually feel like you're well acquainted with the situation, rather than watching with an outsider's view. Your place in the "hierarchy of knowledge" is now equal to every partner of the firm, so it's like you're involved in the voting now instead of just watching the voting. It's a VERY smart bit of plot introduced by the producers.

As far as Mike's part in the flashback, I'm sure you'll find out the significance of the producers showing you the following, but later on in the season, maybe/hopefully in the next episode
1) How he got into the business of selling his test-taking skills
2) How Trevor got into the weed-selling business
3) How they met Jenny, and how Mike and Jenny hit it off well from the very beginning.
I can only guess that #1 will somehow come back to bite him, while #2 and #3 suggest Jenny and Trevor will be coming back into the plot.

As far as Harvey and his dad goes, I think that bit of plot wrapped itself up in that episode as Harvey finally goes to visit the grave in the present day. However, I think the effect of the scene will affect the story later on, in that he's showing much more emotion that ever before in the entire series when it comes to his dad. Firstly, he almost cries when Donna tells him, secondly, he's stricken when Zoe berates him for celebrating his partnership instead of mourning his father, and lastly, his entire journey to the graveyard and the last scene of him having a drink with his dad. Very touching bit of story, I really enjoyed that part.

ERMAGERD, SERTS!!! New episode tomorrow, I really hope they vote, but then again, it's been such a good piece of the series' story line that I hope it drags on longer with even more juicy drama c:
