You mentioned about censoring words but no prevention was made;

How about blocking words from titles, let's be honest not many people use them personally.

"Online job".
"Salary".

 

Because then he would just change some of the words he uses and this suggestion would be useless and frustrating

 

If he's using a program to create the threads then it'd be more work for him than it would blocking a few words.

 

It's a smart thought, but it will only make things worse in my opinion. They will just change their wording \:

But what if in the job section, people want to use them words, I'm sure they could creep into a title. We couldn't just let him abuse that section xd.

If it was me running this forum, I would make a post delay. for example upon joining you can't more than once every 5 minutes for your first 25 posts.

 

The idea is great but wouldn't that promote more spamming than there is currently?

 

I see people join and get loads of post count, this won't slow them down. What I am trying to accomplish is to exhaust the worker/slave to be slowed down upon being able to dump 20+ threads at one time possibly scamming multiple users.

If they go to post 25 times and usually a mod shuts them down within minutes eventually they will fuck off.

It's a good idea, but i think it will deter newer users from using the forums..

 

We're aware of the spamming going on and actively working to stop it.

While changing the post timers, visibility and other for new members might stop this type of spam, it would harm new users coming to Sythe as well.
