Suggestion for Top Donator/$1000+ Donators!

Hello Sythe users,

Before I head out I decided to make a suggestion. Although I am not active on Sythe (4 infractions which expire in a week), I thought about the Donator ranks. In particular custom donator ranks for $300+ Donators.

A $300 Donator or higher has the ability to set their own custom rank. The only problem with this is there is a restriction. This restriction means that the middle MUST BE a pile of coins and the left and right image can be whatever the user wants.

My suggestion is that either the top Sythe donator or $1000+ donators have the ability to create their own custom rank and they don't need to have a pile of coins in the middle.

If this was the case then there would be excess perks beyond $500 donator. More people would be becoming $1000+ donators to get this perk (which could devalue other funranks). This is a weakness I have proposed to suggest why it would be better for the top donator.

If the top donator was to receive this perk, this would mean that not only would people compete to donate more to Sythe but also mean that the rich Sythe users would be more inclined to do this. It would not devalue funranks as only one user would have it.

And also a failsafe will be put in place. This means that if two people donated the same amount (i.e. $6k each) and they were both top donators, the person who donated the $6k first would get the rank. I have suggested this to give perks to donators over $500. There needs to be more incentives and I feel this would be a good one.

I would like to hear your opinions on this topic and I feel that it would be more worthwhile to do this to give additional perks to Sythe users. This may be a small change however some people may feel that it is more unique to have something different compared to a pile of coins in their donator rank.

I dont think we are going to do this, one of the reasons why the middle icon has to be coins is that new users or inexperienced people know its a donator rank and not a indicator of trust rank. Other than that I dont think its worth changing something that only will affect our top donator.
