Suggested way to level Mining?

As title says guys.

Looking for options both for powerleveling and for profit.

Currently 71. Wanting 80-90 depending how focused I can stay haha.

 

Three ways :

1) Granite in the desert.

2) Iron ores directly north of yanille. Bank time is around 30 seconds max, it's pretty fast and good money if you stay dedicated.

3) Mining guild or coal carts in camelot.

If you're looking to make money and level up, it will be very slow and boring but you will make a chunk of change from it.

 

From this level I'd suggest power mining Granite in the desert quarry until you're level 79 . Then do LRC ( Living Rock Caverns ) until your desired level . You will yield profit from banking the Gold ore .

 

Get 79 by mining iron ore (I like ardy North), then at 79 go living rock caverns, which is good xp and money

 

Iron or granite is great up to 77 (conc coal) and 79 (conc gold). From 79 onwards it's pure concentrated gold in LRC, hopefully with a dragon pick and varrock armour 3

 

Iron or granite power lvl till LRC. Juju mining potions are good too

 

Granite in the desert / LRC

 

Powermine Iron
Then do granite to 80
Superheat Gold ore/drop to 99

 

Granite is so monotonous, but probably my favorite way to level Mining. I have gotten three different accounts to 80+ mining using this method.

Does anyone know the estimated xp/h at granite?

 

tbh i think the best would be powermining iron, simply to avoid having to bank for waterskins n stuff, powermining iron is roughly ~35k xp/hr, granite is higher at ~45k xp/hr i think. but i still prefer iron. some good places to powermine iron is:

best to worst:
pictoris fishing colony (however its spelt)
north of yanille (near sum obby)
rimmington mine

granite is in the desert south of the bandit camp and north west of the desert treasure temple,

at 77 ofc go to con coal, at 80 con gold till 99
