    Sucking Up Feedback Threads

Well, I see these every single day, and I have nothing against the mods getting the positive feedback they truly deserve, but sometimes it's just too much.

My suggestion, would be 1 sticky for each mod, or an overall mod thread, where you can post your positive experience with a mod, or even vote in a poll for the mod.

This might be a personal issue of mine, if so, I'm sorry.

What do you guys think though?

I support. I think some people just do it to be noticed by a Mod. It would be a lot less crowed in the feedback section and their would be less people sucking up.

Lol, I was getting raged at because I said there's too much ass kissing on those threads.

    Agreed.

I agree very much. I'd like to see it a bit less cluttered.

Well ass-kiss threads should be banned or something then, and your thread made the way of giving mods feedback from now on :)

I don't really see a problem with the current system. Blatant sucking-up usually does more harm than good and most users who create feedback threads try to acknowledge some good act that the mod has done opposed to simply saying something like "<3 love him" which is what I fear would happen if it were all confined to one thread.

That was exactly my point. It's almost like a way to get a few free posts in to get your penis bigger.

Pretty much this. We all know the "suck up" threads from the legitimate positive feedback threads, and they really don't do any harm. I would imagine it is an additional encouragement when a mod works hard and receives recognition for it, so no need to ban these types of threads.

Although I don't agree with his position on this.

He is most likely posting it because -
    A) He feels like these people are simply sucking up and aren't legitimate in there posts.
    B) Are just looking to build post count.

When i see the above it does make me slightly mad, but i think banning it would be unfair to the mods and genuine feedback towards them.

I don't think anyone here has an issue with giving mods genuine feedback, the issue is how there's a new thread almost every day about it, and only about 5% of the posts are ACTUAL feedback. The majority of them are, "Agreed", "Keep it up!", "Good job!", or just quoting someone else and saying "This". It just turns into 5 pages of "Good jobs" and "Agreed"s, not ACTUAL feedback.

    Ass kissers will kiss ass.
But support in one case, IF the purpose of the feedback forum isn't to kiss ass.

Yes that is what i said, but my point at the end was that although what you just stated is annoying it is not worth taking away the feedback from mods. I'm sure other forms of the feedback suggestion would work, but this one is fine as it is even with flaws like this.

I think Tyro's thread should eliminate individual threads and would avoid this problem in its entirety. Support
