Submit icons for the CS:GO forum!

Please post below the icon you wish to represent the new CS:GO discussion forum on the main homepage. It must be simple yet eye-catching and of course, relevant to it's contents.

Must be:

• 32x32 px
• A greyed out version of your icon
• Eye catching
• Relevant
• Simplistic

Simplest way to make an icon:

Find your image on Google, I recommend using transparent search to avoid ugly background boxes which can be a hassle if you use this simple method:

Click the image of choice, then choose "View original image"

Check the image is transparent, I usually just quickly drag the image on to the nav-bar and if a white border appears, it's not transparent

Next, go to www.online-image-editor.com and paste the direct link you got from "View original image" in to the upload box:

You'll find a toolbar above your image, find the "Resize" tool and resize the image so it's no bigger than 32x32.

Have "Aspect ratio" ticked to avoid stretched/blurry icons

Apply this change and then right click the image and "copy image":

Go to www.imgur.com and hold Ctrl+V to upload the icon:

This step is important, as although you can get a direct link from the editor, they expire shortly.

Got the colored versions of the ones I suggested before, also a few others .

 

I would choose this one:
Looks eye catching as its colored and looks a bit like the icon steam uses. People is familiar with it.

It's to be used as an icon for the CSgo discussion section, currently where the light blue sphere is.

The reason I picked that one was because if you look at the League of Legends or World of Warcraft sections, they use the game icon so I thought it would only be suitable to do the same for CS:GO.
It is also recognizable icon to those who play
