    I have around 4.8% body fat percentage according to some online calculator and my top (4) abs are sort of showing but the bottom two (towards the belly button) are not. Do I need to drop my body fat percentage even more to make those show?

    4.8% and you have a 4-pack? Mate you're defenitly not 4.8% bodyfat( No offence in anyways towards you). What did you use to measure your bodyfat? I am 13.8% (recently measured, about 2 weeks ago) and my 6 abs are showing(no flex what so ever). Also 4,8% is contest shape full jeff seid mode...Doubt you're on that level since you basically have a 4-pack( again do not take anything offensive).

    Dont trust any online calculators as they cannot give you an accurate measurement. Use a body fat caliper to determine how body fat percentage because you are definitely not 4% body fat.

    I'd recommend you go to a local gym and have a trainer test you to get a more accurate measurement. But to lose bodyfat:

    * Eat less carbs
    * intake less calories
    * Be more active (doesn't necessarily mean cardio)
    * Try working out at the gym 3-4 times a week

    Like they said. Let a professional (as professional as these "print a certification" gym guys are) calculate it for you. If you're at that percent and not seeing 6 abs your calculating something wrong.

    I've learned that I can get a 4 pac with the regular workout routine, but to get the extra two you have to put in some extra HARD cardio. I play basketball to get the last two to show.

    if you are 4.8% body fat and can't see your abs, losing weight shouldnt be your concern, you should be gaining weight to actually make abs.

    But im pretty sure you are mistaken about being 5% BF. for a more accurate way to tell, use calipers (although below 10% there are more room for error). Get an estimate from bb forums.

    Like with all health and fitness, generally there are no shortcuts.

    If you "starve" yourself it can actually make you fatter in the long run with the way your body reacts. Lower you consumption to a reasonable amount. Raise your level of daily activity. You'll see the results you want. You get what you work for.

    Post a picture. From what you have said either your muscles are extremely underdeveloped , or the test is wrong (probably this)

    If you get a gym membership most should have you "weigh in" in which they will test your bf% among other things. But having your abs show is not just about being skinny. They are muscles just like every other muscle in your body you have to work out to have them grow.

    And for sure your not 5% or under in bf% that's unhealthy skinny or borderline obsessive aesthic body builder
