Kayos, rather than making it against the rules, why not suggest that BBC be disabled in quotes? That should cut down most of the clutter, but won't really get in the way of most users.

That would be good, would get rid of most of my problem.

You have no idea about how a browser works. It stores the image ONCE in a cache, and calls that image for all instances of it on the page, you only load it once.



@OP: What the fuck is wrong with you? nobody forces you to read the quote again, so don't.

I think that just replacing the images within quotes with the images' direct URLs would be very helpful.

That's a really Good idea for this, then it will cut them down. The only time that they are huge is when the images take it up, then try to read the post but the images keep coming up.
