Stop hosting Gold4rs's advertisements.

[the_dealer]

No support. You choose whether or not to click a banner. And the G4RS ones aren't even dynamic, so they don't particularly draw your attention anyway.

Sythe needs funding to keep it maintained - you can't stay alive off donations alone.

[oxodium]

Doesn't the donations from sythe users generate enough revenue to keep the site afloat?

If not, then obviously leave them, but if so... Then they're a bit unnecessary

We're the best place for them to host their ads. We're the most popular RS site besides RuneHQ that isn't competition or affiliated, giving us great profit from the ads.

If you want to piss them off, click on it. They pay more than $2 for that click.

i must be making sythe a ton of money right now. make me a donor! (;

[LunaToon]

It's an advertisement people, and it keeps the site running. Just because you see an advertisement on a website, that doesn't mean that the site is amazing, and everything they advertise is the truth. When I go to other big websites and see ads for how google can make me $1000 a day by just watching tv, or ads on how I can get a pack of abs in one week, I'm not going to believe them, and then blame the site when I didn't get what I expected, or what was advertised in the ad.

Seriously guys, stop bitching about the ads.

[ProGuideSeller]

a while ago i tried selling Gold4RS an account, we both agreed to an account and then he asked me to send him ALL details, and so i did.

After sending all the details he said "sorry we cant buy this account" so i was like WTF, why said you can and ask for details?! so i went to change password and surprise surprise, they had changed my password. >.>

[Sin666]

Selling adspace doesn't imply an endorsement of the products for sale. Whenever you go to purchase something, it is up to you to research the product and the merchant.

If they scammed everyone outright, it might be a different story - but they do fill orders, and poor service isn't Sythe.org's concern, especially when most other goldfarming sites aren't stellar either.

[HxCpk]

Have these so called "willing participants" contact any of the admins who'll redirect them to Sythe.

The site isn't free to run, and until we find replacements for these ads, they'll be up there until they're outbidded.

/topic

^^Couldn't of said it better. You can't just throw away a sponsor, without having a replacement.

[Rsaccounttrader]

Support. I've been scammed using them.

[zDubstepz]

No support, without such advertisements sythe would not be funded as much. Get over it, just ignore them....

[Darkstassassin]

No support, they try to fill most their gold orders, but when you sell an account to them they usually try to scam.

[Carcinomati]

I only sell accounts to them with nothing I care about risking. Never been "scammed" by them.

Define scamming. The amount of people who sell and recover accounts on Gold4rs is huge. They have to be really careful when buying accounts, which somehow may have been interpreted as scamming.

[Deathsnova]

No support, Without advertisment sythe cant stay up.
+ there advertisments are fun to look at
"We pick 9 scholars and give them 30m each"
"get a firecape naked"
Just ignore the ad because deep down you know they scam.

Is that so? Every time I come to the site I'll be sure to click it then. May as well help out any way I can lol.

[mill3n]

You can go ahead and outbid them on their ad. If you do, I'll congratulate you. If you don't, I'll tell you Sythe needs ad money and Gold4RS is paying the most.

[FoxTek]

If you don't like it that much...get adblock plus for firefox, problem solved...

[Aesty]

I support this, They ruined my perfect pure.

None of the donations go toward the site, they're split equally between Matthew and Sythe.

The only thing that goes toward the hosting is the advertisements.

As to everyone saying sponsor it yourself, or find another bidder, perhaps if Sythe let us know a rough figure of what they're paying per click, and totals per month, maybe someone would step forward. You act as if Gold4RS is paying Sythe thousands of dollars for advertising, and I can guarantee you they aren't. A few hundred at best, and even that's probably stretching it.

Alright, so try finding someone wanting to pay a 'few hundred' [Which is a lot!] just to make sure Gold4RS is off the ads. -.-'
