After reading the whitepaper on siacoin:

* cloud storage side chain for btc
* selling space on your computer
*cloud storage is a multi-multi-multi billon dollar industry
*siacoin is cheaper cloud storage then other alternatives.

Yes its been talked a lot, no this is not a pump thread, I actually did research and am linking so people know I'm not some idiot with $5,000.

p.s- Siacoin solves a problem, expensive cloud storage, I believe in coins that solve problems. The digital world is expanding and will only continue to do so.

I share your view that this coin has potential, I've bought around 120k coins a week ago and they've been doing well since. Been reading lots of articles and it looks promising

Alright it's over boys it's been pumped and dumped like the shit coin it is. Nice try though.

 

All jokes aside, I do feel there is more to this coin than the credit it is being given. Sure this coin I can see only will have a small 'niche' market and never will go to the "moon" but I think it's undervalued as atm the cloud storage market is very large and based on reports going to triple to over 70 billion+ within 5 years. No doubt there's many competitors in the saturated market but siacoin has the advantage of being decentralized private encrypted storage at a lower price than mainstream ones so even if it doesn't become the main competitor of cloud storage it will still grow in years to come.

I'd have to disagree... unlike many other coins, this one does have a purpose. No, it's not trying to be the next Bitcoin and become the world's "currency"... It's got a limit on how large it can grow (cloud market industry) but that market is still very big leaving lots of room for growth on this coin. Just don't get carried away thinking it will go to $2000 and you should be fine.

 

Bet your salty as hell considering its up 170% in the last week alone lol.

 

bought 81k at 407 yesterday. Woulda bought more but don't have a good way of getting btc until my bank is confirmed or I sell my bot farms gold.

 

Ive had my money this week in DGB, made close to 600% profit so far with them.

I went in on it a while ago and I'm seeing some nice profits, hopefully it continues this way.

 

Seems to be right now at a slight dip due to market correction from the past few days of ETH and BTC going up now would be a good time to stock up on more.
