He has had cancer for awhile.

Reminds me of my Grandfather, when you have cancer you get to a point where your health deteriorates REALLY quickly. My Grandfather seemed fine for 5 years, but during the last few months of his life it went down hill very fast.

I feel sorry for his family, I know what it is like to go through watching that happen to a loved one and it doesn't feel good.
