Why Jed McCaleb gotta be so salty though? 1% to XRP holders looks like a scheme to pull their investors, Jed is basically saying "Hey we know you have XRP but come have a little taste of what we're cooking". I bet after the giveaway the stock will shoot up with Jed scheming, this will tempt XRP users to invest more into Lumens as well as BTC users. $50k cap on XRP is also a ploy to stop people from investing big in XRP so they can get some free Lumens. Why is this guy so salty?


Orrrrr did I just completely misunderstand this and speculate like a mfer while in actuality Ripple/Lumens are homies now.

How does this work? Like where do we find a link, how do we prove we own that ripple, etc?

Looks like they're only offering it to people who were an XRP holder May 22nd 2014 with less than 7.5m XRP at the time, those people can get free Lumen stock worth up to 1.5m XRP. Really have no idea what they're trying to accomplish with this though to be honest. Jed McCaleb is a clever dude.
