Ford provided the Nazis with a shitload of equipment as well, what's your point? Nazi sympathizers were rampant in all countries during WW2, it doesn't come as a shock. Not only that, but you can't blame a company for their historic missteps. As for worst companies today? Depends on the country. Americans would probably say Bank of America or Comcast, whereas here in Canada I'd be shocked to hear anyone say anything other than Rogers or Bell. Unanimously, however, I think we can agree that Monsanto is the corporation most in the moral wrong. Or PETA, if they count.

    lol'd so hard

@OP: I'd say the pharmaceutical industry. Probably one of the most money hungry and truly toxic industries this planet has ever known.

You're mostly paying for the atmosphere. They were the first to really put in a lot of cash into renovations for the couches and "comfy" environment. They also put that money to good use, they pay their managers exceptionally well and provide benefits to all workers (including part-time) after having worked there for 3 months. If we had to put corporations on a spectrum of good to bad, Starbucks would be waaaay far on the good side. If you don't like paying that much for a coffee, go elsewhere. Simple as that.

a lot of people are judging based on personal inconvenience rather then actually immoral practice.

I know lenovo had that whole superfish scandal.

and as far as gov agencies go

    this one is mind blowing

Bayer. In the 1980s, they discovered that one of the products they were selling—a medicine to induce blood clotting—was infecting people with H.I.V. So like any responsible company, they stopped marketing it and developed a safer medicine—right before exporting all of the contaminated medicine to Asia and Latin America, where it continued to be sold. They even continued making the H.I.V. infected medicine for another few months, because it was cheaper to produce than the new version—this was again sold straight to developing countries. Pretty scummy.

Why? Personally I'm a huge supporter of GMOs etc. - organic farming is a fad, and an unsustainable fad at that given the amount of additional crop space you need for an organic farm. As for how they operate corporately, they're really not much different from other companies such as DuPont.

    Unanimously? You wot m8?

Nestle, the water company. They are legally siphoning ground water from the earth and are paying several dollars for millions of litres of water. It's ridiculous. It's something like $3 for a every million litres, and they can do it legally because they are using a loophole - obtaining the water from the ground, rather than a public source. And of course, bottling said water for $2 for a 591ml bottle.
