Stay away from PhotonVPS.

Sadly I used a debit card, so I can't dispute anything.

 

If you paid for Photon with a CC, I would try and get your money back through them.

@Master- Photon is a very good company, and I haven't really heard any issues aside from this. Do you have experience with Photon? If you don't, you have no right to badmouth them.

 

Technically, you can.

Its a debit card yes, but its a Visa/Mastercard/we debit card.

Even then you should still be able to get the money back from bank. Just say you lost your card at work and someone turned it in a couple days later.

And yes, I do have bad experience with Photon.

I would send him a reply stating I am taking you to court regardless of your empty threat. Seriously, I highly doubt they can even contact Jagex with ease, let alone get them to come to court over a single VPS.

 

Anyone willing to bet that its Jagex themselves that is pushing Photon to do this? Any takers?

And yes, you can actually get your money back even with a debit card. Call your bank, I believe.

honestly after using i dont see how you can ask for a refund i could see maby asking them to fix it i did that with one of my providers i said that it was not running the way it should and they messaged back saying i was well within there limitations and after talking with them the problems they changed some setting i think it had to do with a java limitation they had and it ran amazingly better after but asking for a refund after using it for a few days its something you are doing wrong chances are considering my 1gb of ram photon vps is running 2 soul wars bots with little lag and openvz is not recommend for botting support said so i bought the more costly xen

 

This just cost them my business as I was looking for my first vps and they were at the top of my list.

I'm thinking now that I might get the bronze plan at seerhost. It looks like they are ideal for me to easily do this and practice with 2 bots before I start doing more.

 

dont let it cost you your business if the guy was trying to use a openvz to bot which everyone says not to do its his fault and demanding a refund because he did not research is imo retarded

 

He CLEARLY, MULTIPLE times stated he has Warp 3. Warp 3 is XEN, not openvz.

Photon has said themselves they will refund within 30 days. For any reason, up until now, that is. So if he wants a refund, he should get one. Period.

I can run 4 bots with the bronze plan for seerhost. (That's how many I tried but idk if it does more never tried.)
