70/70 or 75/70 will not level you if you go from 1/1 melee. compared to what people say about 40/40 or 1/1 on tanks. No cb level is gained once you reach a certain level 90 I think.

This is the ideal range tank. High range and high def. You never want your str or atk to be higher than your defense. And 95 prayer 94 Mage. You'll rape.

 

Ideal stats for a tank ranger are:

Attack and Strength combined can't be over 138 (like 74/74 or 75/70)
Defence 99
Range 99
Magic 99
Prayer 95

By the way tank ranger is, imho, one of the funniest ways to PK. I had one and I just loved it
