State of the Website - Heavy Critique

Hey,

I've just been browsing the community and reading a lot of threads and it seems like everything is going very well. There does not seem to be much fighting or drama and everything's quite peaceful.

All of the current moderators are running a tight ship, I rarely see any negative posts anymore and I very much appreciate that. I just wanted to make this thread thanking each and every one of you who has made this website great, especially the moderators. You guys work tirelessly to make sure that every person on this website has an optimal experience and it will not go unnoticed, at least not by me.

Special shout out to Charlotte, Azie, veng and Chloe who have been great in the dispute section and Wortel for just being a great guy and doing a wide variety of things to keep this website and it's users happy and safe.

The only bad thing about this website is probably the missing features but I may just be nostalgic for vBulletin, haha!

I definitely agree with this post, I browse the forums (Especially the market section) Daily and the staff are doing a wonderful job.

The only thing I personally think needs to be addressed in the "Market" section is the large amount of random imposter website threads/Paypal scam posts, once this issue is addressed and a solution is found the market will be a wonderful place.

 

Yea the current group of moderators are good. In particular people like @Tmoe and @Wortel are making the difference. In my opinion Tmoe is the most important factor at the moment, he is the most active admin by far as far as I can see and his work really changes the site for the better. Wortel ends closely after Tmoe making the marketplace incredibly safe with all the work he has been doing there.

Letting toxic DNT users back into the website was a mistake. They just bring the entire website down with constant toxic statements like the one quoted above.

But I know that Sythe did what he thought was best for the site, so I appreciate it nonetheless.

I can see that this is a genuine post from Syed and he really wants the best for the site and its members. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and opinion!
