    Startup problem

When I start up my computer it freezes on the main Gateway page. It says Gateway blah blah Press f10 for boot menu F2 for settings or something like that. Neither key works, acts like it's frozen, I've tried it many times. Any ideas? Thanks

Did you delete anything/change anything the last time it was used?

The first thing you should try is resetting your cmos. Open up your computer case, look on the motherboard for a silver circular battery, take it out and wait 5 minutes and put it back in.

There are loads of things that could be going wrong here.. Need a little more info than what you are providing. Try explaining the problem further? Or try using a boot disk or system restore as suggested in a previous post.

Well as suggested before by wtp you should try removing the CMOS chip and replacing it-but make sure you touch a metal surface to take off any static you had previously.
