Starting fresh?

Got banned on my main two days ago, and having second thoughts on making a new pure account solely for pking purposes.
I've spent 3+ years plus into the development of my main account and moreon the investment I made towards memberships costs.
Wondering if it's worth to play and pay for the pk aspect of the game, and will just focus on quests/stats no pvm or whatsoever.
I need some insight of how is 2007 pking nowadays after months of the release of the 07 server.
Please be honest.

 

The pking within 07 servers is very strong, no matter what level/type of pure you are, you will always find a fight. The user base is strong and active.

 

I hope that PKing will just improve steadily from now on.

The removal (sort of) of the PID system, and the upcoming release of PvP worlds will hopefully combine to move more people toward the wilderness.

Pking on my Berserker pure has been pretty active, around 85-95 combat. I think all types of pking will find you fights though. You could always buy an account from someone trusted if you didn't want to restart, OR make your own account, and pay someone to quest/level it for you so it can't be stolen in the future.

 

I keep seeing people speak of the changed PID system? so what system does it work on now ? can I actually go stake without the worry of VPN noobs ?

And also the crack down of private servers (ultimatescape which was #1 on some vote sites) and Then that other one, and that's just the two recent ones I know about.....

RSPS player base will get tired of server shut downs and some will move to 07 and ones that were playing both will become more active in 07

 

Basically dude PID is a great factor in staking, drop parties and I think party room drops. I believe people are requesting this to be updated due to this giving players with higher PID an advantage.

I really don't understand why Jagex are cracking down on RSPS' because in all fairness they're fun and harmless. I personally don't care how many people are playing the Old School servers as long as it's not a minuscule amount of players and I can still find fights in the wilderness. I'm not a crowed follower, I play games I enjoy, generally speaking.

yes, if you follow it 100% you will get the same results as in the guide.

I would definitely try out Old School. It's obvious it's active and doing pretty well. I personally just came back to RS after a very long break and I feel like its still same and it nearly had me hooked all over again. GO FOR IT!

Pking on my 1 defence pure all the time, wild is always full!

 

I consider now that GwD is coming back, to even get a main, but argh all the work I had on my main went through the drain like seconds.
