Basically me and my friend aren't going to University this year, we have about £1500 and are looking to start up a small business, was wondering if any of you guys have any ideas on what we could do? We aren't looking to take over the world just to generate some income, help fund our moderate lifestyle. We have literally 24/7 time we could dedicate.

Start an eCommerce site and buy shit from wholesale dropshippers that will sell on the site.

 

Do any of you have any interests or are any of you good at particular subjects? A home tutoring/music lesson business would probably be good. Most retail type businesses are struggling to start up these days so I wouldn't risk the money.

Maybe make T-shirts? Not shitty ones either, I'm talking like good quality T-shirts with your own designs and stuff. A few people form my school did that and they're relatively successful at it.

This, dropshipping is the way to go, on a large scale, its extremely profitable. I almost started a business doing it awhile back but didnt have the market smarts to get it popular enough.

Running an online business is too much profitable but it needs too much efforts to run an online business if you are going to market a popular thing. You'll have to face a tough competition and adopt much more tactics and strategies to compete others, doing the same.
