Start playing RS again?

I dont know If I should go back to playing after a 2 years break. As of now I have no games to play on my laptop, and Im really bored.
But if I do, what account should I buy? And what should I do with it? And if anyone can lend me an account that`d be great.

I don't see why you want to go back to playing RS. The graphics suck. They add pointless updates every other week. The new skill they implemented fails.

All in all, a crappy game.

You should buy a pure and PK people with it. I always found PKing fun. Make money PKing.

 

Nothing else to play though.

Necro, disagree with you there. RS is a browser-based game, and is one of the best. The graphics isn't 'that great' but WoW doesn't have good graphics either (compared to PC games).

Sometimes they add pointless updates, at other times, they don't.

Agree that the new skill is boring though. It's pretty much the same thing over and over.

 

A pure is usually an account that has very high combat stats, but 1 defense. There are range pures. There are rune pures. There are strength pures.

I agree, it is one of the best. But there aren't that many browser games out there to be honest. Graphics suck, IMO. WoW's graphics are SO much better than RS. Think of it like this. RS is a Mitsubishi Evolution. WoW is a Ferrari.

Disagree. The last update that they added that was useful was the Grand Exchange, in my opinion.

 

What does the new skill do?

 

It's like 5 man wow dungeons. Bosses - train skills - make armor - drop loot(that you can't keep) - puzzles to solve(same ones always)

Rinse...repeat.

Fun for the first 25 lvls tho!

What kind of pure should I get?

 

Depends. You need to be quite fast to use a strength pure. It's all about timing. I myself hate pures. I'm never too fast to change to the R2H and whack the guy to death.

 

I personally prefer P2P pures. Phinal, do you like Melee, Range or Mage?

Melee are good against rangers, rangers are good against mages, mages are good against melee. So just pick your favorite tbh

Don't get back into it. Try and do something IRL to occupy your time. You'll get more out of it and it's better for you to get out more.

OT: I don't really like training stats and all that in runescape, i just like pking, which is the only thing i really do.
If you feel like spending time on RS, then go for it

 

If you're buying a pure, get a 95+ range pure. If you're making one, DON'T; it takes forever and it's boring as fuck.

 

my personal opinion is to buy a pure and pk. Thats all i do in runescape and i never get bored. All my non cb skill relate to pking, for example hunting. I like the extra cash and im 1m off 99 ^_^.
