StarCraft II Section

What the hell is Starcraft?

 

Starcraft is a real sport in some places no troll. In korea they have huge tornis.

 

Pretty well known and popular game. I'd say go ahead and make it, as others have said; if needed it can just be deleted later.

 

I've never played starcraft but after googling it and doing my research I believe a forum should be added. The fact is as Tmoe said, it can be deleted later on if need be.

 

I support, I love StarCraft 2. It would probably have me visiting sythe more often as my activity has died down a bit.

 

Support I love watching sc2 videos. I would play sc2 but my laptop can't handle it.

There is no negative to implementing it. If it doesn't get used much, they can delete it/merge it.
So why not, and congratz on mod Farcast

If there is a Diablo II/III section, I don't see why there shouldn't be an SC II section. I mean, Diablo III isn't even out yet: that section is pretty much a dead one.

 

Anything going to be done with this suggestion?

Yes please a Starcraft II section! This game is a SPORT in Korea, HUGE tournaments, thousands of viewers, it has it's own TV channels, and players get tons of money for winning/have lots of big name sponsors :].

And it's just a really popular game, would be neat to have a subsection for it somewhere. It's an RTS game.

 

I support this sc2 is awsome and I would be active in it I play everyday

 

Support If it dies off just merge it with another forum

I support this because i just started playing starcraft and I LOVE IT! I think i might get starcraft 2 but i know so little about the series a forum would help greatly.

 

No. Just no. Pretty much every game forum that has ever been added has just done nothing. What really needs to happen is a retooling of the other games forum so that it makes sense organizationally, and then have a big push for it to be active. If a game really starts to take over that section, then give it it's own section. All these people who support really have no reason to as there is a place to discuss it already if they really wanted to.

 

I personally would love to see a SC2 section, I've never even played the game and I know I would post in it more than I do any other section. The game is just so intense to watch.

 

I still think it would be a fairly good idea to make a Battle.net section, and create sub-forums for Diablo, WoW and add in SC2.

 

I agree that this would work; it could even be a massive boost of activity to the forums. However, we would need to get people to advertise ingame to bring many to the starcraft forum. There is not enough support within our internal community for it to work with this current user base.
