Staff wanting free stuff

He had something like "need 30-60 magic done, will vouch" in his signature a few days ago

 

It's just my opinion, If they have so much work to do, then they shouldn't be taking any more "work" on. Are you dealing with them because the staff don't have enough time? Or doing it to suck up their asses?

Either way, It's just my opinion, No one will be able to change it

Funny this, considering how much work the staff would do for you, from banning the people who scam you, answering your questions, moderating the forums you post on and making sure theres less rule-breakers here. Remember that the person you've based this topic on, Finn, is the most community-spirited Admin here, and that him and the other Admins keep this site up for you.

Then tell us that they don't deserve to be able to make some money (not even much either.. $1 per pin profit(guess)?

Lol, not taking more work on? They want to make some extra $. I don't know if you know this.. Mods do NOT get paid. You're being a dick thinking mods shouldn't be able to make an extra buck.
As for your suck up to them. No, that's my personal opinion. I don't kiss ass to people.

 

It can get a bit annoying, but in the end, it's their signature. If you hate it so much, turn signatures off so you won't be able to see them.

 

MMing is a pain and the fee is what it should be..

edit: TMOE they get the choice to be a mod, They can easily not do it if they're here for cash.

 

Why wouldn't they not choose to be mod? You can be here for the cash. IDK if you noticed.. Being a mod helps business.

This annoys me.

First off, the thread is WAAYY off-topic, it's not about staff MM-ing or having other 'businesses'. There's fuck all wrong with that. Most of them prolly had them before they were even staff.

It does annoy me when staff beg for things though. No one else is allowed to, why should they? I'm just going to report it in future I'm thinking.

 

What's it matter, anyone can ask for something done or a donation. I could ask for people to give me $ so I can purchase something and mods can't do anything if it's a donation button in my sig. It's not against the rules.

 

So basically you are saying when they become a moderator they can no longer use this forum for it's purpose for most members, to buy and sell or get things done for free? A lot of members use free skilling services and I think mods of all people deserve more than most members as they put in so much time and effort into this site.

Hey, I don't do this! You shouldn't tar all staff with the same brush.

I'm pretty sure I've seen more than one thread made by a staff member asking for free training or something.

 

Please find such threads, and I will properly punish this staff member.
And if you see them in the future as well, report them.
(For the record, alongside Verts I don't do this either)

 

It shouldn't concern you. We're just as much of a member as anybody else.

The worst that comes out of asking is it can be unprofessional at times. Stop making a big deal out of nothing.
