Was coming here to post just that.

 

From now on scam reports are going to be killed on the spot and dealt with swiftly. GLAD to have multiple mods willing to take action down there, this is how it should be.

Definitely, everyone that has contributed there now is great. Hopefully we will never see 6 plus pages anymore there.

Yes, there was some feedback, but it all went about the same thing. After you told your side of the story, I'd say 95% of the feedback already got taken care of, so where does the drama come from?

To be honest, our staff have been doing an immense amount of work recently. There's no spam reports originating in the market and no scam reports.

If you guys REALLY want to impress me, do the same thing with Dispute Forum as you did with RaSc

Sin666 is doing a great job, and the anonymous feedback system is a huge benefit. Thank you for your hard work.

 

Sin666 is... well do I really need to tell anyone? I'll just say she's been really active.

Also same thing for Kero. Everywhere I look post reports, title changes, and similar things are being handled by him, and I mean everywhere!

 

I'd extend it to the entire round of recent promotions.

I'd like to praise the entire moderating team for doing a great job recently! You guys are at the top of your game; the best you've been for at least 6 months.

Some feedback on select individuals:

Govind-You are literally always on when I am. Almost everything you're looking at/doing is BTS, but I can tell you're extremely active there. It would be nice to see you in and around the community a bit more, but you're doing a great job on the administration side.

Sin666-You are doing an amazing job as a staff member. Your idea for Anonymous Feedback was amazing; you have the balls (no pun intended) to do things that certain highly respected members might look down upon but are best for the site. I think if you stepped up into a general administration role you would more than fill the gap Finn left behind.

FireZ-A great guy and an awesome moderator. I think your unparalleled decisiveness and dedication make you a good candidate to be an admin.

Wulfspade1-Your efforts to clean up the community general section have not gone unnoticed; keep up the good work! (P.S. Suggestions forum cleanup next? : P)

Awesome Stranger-From what I can tell by looking at your posts, you're doing a great job handling reports. It would definitely be nice to see you around the community more, I feel like I've only ever seen you post a few times.

I'd like to say something related to what Govind has done recently, in fact, he's made literally the biggest change I've seen staff-wise since joining the team, what he's doing is still a bit rough and needs tuning, and thats what he's doing, It is changing how we moderate and how we are monitored and in general it will improve sythe.org moderation in the long run.

 

Wow, that's even more awesome than I thought. If the system is ever made public, I'd love to hear how it works.

 

Formerly, every month, the staff's mod logs were counted up and posted in the SL to determine who was active, who needed to improve, etc. (1 log = 1 locked post, 1 moved post, etc)

Govind's changed the way staff activity is tabulated, so now admins can see, by category, how many bans, disputes, scam reports, spam reports, infractions, etc have been handled. These actions are scaled on a point system, providing a better estimate of mod activity.

It really is a huge improvement.

 

Wow. I actually was thinking about possible revisions to the log system. I suggested to Giverny that each mod rank be required to do, not just a total number of logs, but logs that come out of each section, or at least count some more than others. The main complaint against that system was that it was hard to see what was what. If Govind can successfully set up this new system, that will be huge.
