I assume the only way to do that would be to enable guest posting for the entire feedback section, and then make the forum moderated (so all posts - new threads as well as replies - in the section would have to be approved by a moderator before being visible).

Thus, there would have to be substantial benefits to anonymous feedback to justify the amount of extra work that system would create.

I think it would have to be for the whole feedback forum, but unless a person uses a proxy, they're still not anonymous when posting unregistered(and most proxies are blocked from my understanding).

The email method seems the most anonymous as Sin is the only one who could track you down. If you use a reliable proxy and one of those hour emails, though, you should be 100% hidden.

It wouldnt be ultimately anonymous, a staff member who gets criticised could easily find out who posted it via the IP.

She'd by obliged to post it. If she didn't, (which I doubt would happen), you could forward your sent email to an admin and they could deal with it im sure.

I feel like Finn may have used his position to mislead others. One week he has an ebook talking about how hard life is with money issues and lay offs and him needing money for school and he sells this ebook almost as donation based sense it had multiple prices. The next week he talks about buying a brand new mac book pro.. Not the cheapest option for a laptop for school..and he obviously already had a computer of some sort as he was posting on sythe. I really felt decieved by this.

I'll treat feedback about myself the same I would as if it referred to any other moderator. There's nothing wrong with negative feedback, and I rather prefer to know both sides of how I'm perceived, good and bad.

Also, I added an anonymous emailer to the first post as an option, so even I can't find out who the sender is.

Just a question for admins: Why is it that some mods are instantly granted perms to the RaSc when me and some others had to wait 2+ months to be able to lock a thread in there. It's nothing personal to the recently promoted Moderators, I just would like a straight answer.

The Moderator for a Graphics Section needs to be hands-on and practical, and their work in the section shouldn't be purely thread moderation. It's a much more skill-orientated role; anybody can delete/close threads and infract another member for not following the rules, but in this position Kinaesthic has a much more intensive part to play. I feel his position may need to be reviewed - Being a Graphics Moderator is much more than reaching the Moderator Logs quota each month.

I was in the irc when Finn first stated how much money he had made from his ebooks and then announced to everyone he was going on a shopping spree. He then continued to show off all the new clothes and shoes he was buying.

I thought your "ebooks" were supposed to help you through university? It shows just how much truthfulness was behind that statement.

This is not a hate feedback of any sort, however, as far as I know, a staff member must be a sectional for at least two months before one is promoted to another section. I feel that it is unfair that n4n0 got a special treatment of getting both sections as soon as being promoted. im not saying he's going to do a bad job, because i know he will do good.

To my knowledge, there are no formal restrictions on how many sections a new sectional can moderate. It is rare for a new mod to be given multiple sections (simply because it takes a while to learn the ropes and it's easier to see how they do with one forum first), but at least when I was an admin, any sectional was welcome to ask to take on additional sections according to their interests

One thing I want to stress with this comment is the fact that sectionals normally don't get permissions in a second section, as the first section is more of a "trial" phase. Myself being experienced as not only a sectional, but also a global, I don't necessarily need the "trial" phase.

I saw no point in being impractical for the sake of procedure in n4n0's case.
