I happen to love constructive criticism very much, just so you know.

If you're referring to ChristmasCracker's post, I didn't say anything out of the way to him for anything other than his "they're only here for the rank" remark.

That being said, yes, I am inactive right now and I have activity spurts mostly on the weekends (which would explain me being at school and now my workplace). As I said a couple days ago, I'll be active again when I get my new sleeping schedule straightened out, so maybe I'll get some better feedback then.

 

Wulfspade1 - You deserve much more credit for your activity around here. Incredibly helpful with spam reports, disputes and even scam reports. Excellent work.

 

I GUESS, since all of this constructive feedback is coming, I'll give my own.

I'd rather not get into an argument or anything, so just accept my feedback and move on.

Half of the staff are inactive, and there is maybe five out of eight globals that do something (that I can notice.) If you're going to give me a comeback with "Wish you could see their mod logs" or something, no. This is from my prospective.

FireZ maintaining the disputes, the RaS section, basically been by himself until a few other moderators have realized they need to step up.

My personal opinion is that if someones going to be away for a period of time, they should get a replacement of some sort, because with all the inactivity the site is going to decrease.

Man, there's just too many staff members that care more about their self-image than their active duties. I think if you accept the moderation job, you should do your moderating then in your free time do whatever the hell you want.

For me it seems like most of the staff is inactive, but I know the reason for that is because a LOT of it is behind the scenes.

If it isn't too much of a trouble, I'd like staff to post here what they've been doing lately? (To show they're active)

 

I've always wished the world were perfect enough for this suggestion. In the business world, an absence of someone who is important to achieving stability is filled with a "temp" to keep things flowing relatively the same. However, there are too many on this site who are interested in achieving what they want at any cost. Giving a person the trust and priviliges associated with being a mod is extremely risky, and thus the process of promoting has several checkpoint steps that must be passed. It ensures safety, but it does leave holes at moments when seemingy all moderators' lives become busy at once. The best we non-staf can do at these tense moments is try and write easy-to-follow reports and possibly educate those who might get scammed before it happens.

Tl;dr: The staff can't just plug holes with anybody. If someone is worthy of a temporary spot on staff, he's just as worthy full-time and will almost certainly be promoted sooner than later.

When will Kero be back? I think he has proven he can secure his account and I believe he will help restore a greater level of activity.

 

Nate- Learn to act like a global should and not like an annoying jackass.

 

Can you provide specific examples of cases where he can improve his attitude? I cant think of any.

 

I personally have always found Nate to be professional and respectful. He does have an air of command, but that's reasonable.

Dalpra - Do you do much behind the scenes? The only time I have ever seen you is in your MM thread...

 

Provide me with an example and ill reverse your infraction, otherwise quit complaining about the fact that your debate points are awful. Feedback thread is not an excuse for members to throw insults to staff because you disagree with my opinion on judiciary outcomes. Grow up please.

How active has Sacro? I feel like I never see him, but maybe I'm just not seeing him. Lol
