Staff changes - tell us about them!

Please don't argue on my thread. It's not about the reason behind the change, it's about whether the change has happened.

 

I like to know when staff have changed positions or been demoted and would like it documented.

Let me again make it CLEAR I DO NOT WANT to know the reasons behind the decision.

 

Even the staff don't get any kind of document stating each demotion and its reason...

 

I think if it concerned you enough, as in if you knew the person well, then you would be able to contact them in someway to ask them.

If you didn't know the person, then it's just being overly dramatic to want to know. It's not like it'll effect you in anyway really.

 

I don't support. What's it matter to you?
If you know them well enough, they'll have told you.

 

I understand that we should know when any staff member changes positions, but I still believe if scamming is involved we should get a heads up.

Also it does matter, I don't think we should have to be in the dark over things, as somone put it a teacher fired mid year and they don't give reasons. Well this is sythe, we're not exactly following legal guidelines.

I can give you an example.
I wasn't following much of the mod "gossip" at the time when Syed was banned, so I had no idea what he was banned for, but I assumed scamming, as 90% of people are banned for that. I saw he was let back on the site with a three month probation, and I thought that the decision was risky yet fair, as he had contributed so much to the site. Two days later, Syed became an OMM, the position that you need to be most trustworthy for over all of Sythe (except admin). I was like OMGWTFBBQ. I asked two Globals and not even THEY knew why he was an OMM. I found out he was banned for trolling, not scamming, the next day, but had I known that in the first place, I wouldn't have had such suspicions.

 

Exactly I think we deserve to know stuff like that also.

 

We are falling off the topic, HE DOESNT WANT TO KNOW WHY, HE JUST WANTS TO KNOW IF THEY HAVE BEEN BANNED,DEMOTED,PROMOTED,ETC. ALL IN ONE THREAD. BECAUSE ITS HARD TO FIND ALL THE PROMOTIONS AND DEMOTIONS BANS ETC.
