Vouches

Automatic close on vouch threads of users who are banned. Also I feel that selling gold to a trusted user aka goldsites, where the user in question goes first, makes it impossible for the gold site who bought it to vouch if they ask the "trusted user"

In english vouches should only be considered/posted if a user goes first and actually is trusted with something.

No support. If you're going to start closing vouch threads of banned users, then why not close their other threads too? That'll be an insane job for the moderators and not necessary; just leave it inactive and no one should be bothered. Report those who gravedig those posts or report those who vouch for a banned user, simple.

 

i feel like this suggestion came up because you saw a few vouches you were unhappy about - if so, just report them and we'll deal with them. but anyway, onto your suggestion: i sold r2p some gold a few years back. does that vouch only count for one of us because only one of us went first?

vouches are evidence of transaction history. transactions with two parties work both ways. vouches should count both ways

 

No. Just as most trading platforms both traders are given feedback. This will also not be viable for many trades for example... a skiller trains for you and you pay them after. As they have gone first you're saying the skiller shouldn't be vouched. I'd disagree because the skiller has provided a legitimate service/product to the buyer.

 

No support. 99% of the time I never go first, yet I still leave feedback/vouch because it was a transaction that occurred between me and someone else. In your feedback/vouch, you can always mention who went first. If we were to somehow moderate vouches, it would be very ineffective and a waste of time, not to mention the amount of micromanaging that would take.

 

If you take the time to look at someone's vouches it isn't that much more effort to actually read them. If you take the time to actually read the vouches you can see if the person is trusted as you said in the OP

 

I'm going to go ahead and close this under impractical implementation. Monitoring every vouch would take an exorbitant amount of time (there is also a lack of support and I side with everyone else, individuals can vouch for the trade, just look through vouches and see if they're truly trustworthy).
