Should I take programing or web design at school?

I'm debating..

Programing includes things like C++, blah..

Web design includes Java, XHTML, etc..

One of the perks for web design is that they will try to get you a co-op thingy.. Which means I will go to a company for 4 days out of the school week to work for a company, get paid, and get school credits.

It really depends what you like more... Personally I prefer regular programming over web programming/design but that's just me.

Btw Java isn't really web programming.. Javascript is web programming and Applets made in Java can be hosted onnline..

I meant Javascript.

Let me make this clear, Java is absolutely one of the worst programming languages ever made. For example, RuneScape [v.2] (2004!?) They call these polygons!? Pshh... Starfox 64 had better graphics. FAIL

[shakaka]

They are teaching Javascript for web design not for games.

But my advice to you tough is to take up C++ programming.

I have a while to think about it.. I'll weigh out the differences and benefits.
